A Key Component of a Tune Up

What Is a Tune-Up?

When you hear about a tune-up, the term actually refers to more than one service. Rather, it’s a package of related points that make your vehicle run better and more efficiently once completed. A tune-up usually consists of replacing wearable components related to internal combustion. These can include the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve, filters (both air and fuel), oxygen sensor(s), and spark plug wiring. The spark plugs are cleaned and replaced if necessary. Other preventive services that are typically performed again at this time are the oil change and fluid checks/top-offs. If it’s time for your vehicle’s tune-up, trust the ASE-certified technicians at The Auto Experts in Sacramento, California.
