Back To School Must-Haves For The New Driver

Back To School Must-Haves For The New Driver

Going back to school is a time-honored tradition for young people the world over. It's a rite of passage, a time to learn, grow, and become an adult. But for new drivers, it can also be a time of great stress.

There's so much to learn and so many new things to worry about! That's why we've put together this list of must-haves for the back-to-school season. With these tools in your toolkit, you'll be ready to take on the world - or at least the DMV - with confidence. So without further ado, let's get started!

What should I have to start driving?

The most important things you want to consider are your driver's license and legal driving permission. After that, a few things can make your life a little easier!

  • First up is a good ol' fashioned auto repair manual. Whether you're a new driver or not, having a reliable resource to turn to when something goes wrong is always a good idea. Auto repairs can be expensive, so it's best to be prepared. We understand that everyone has a cell phone, but in those times when you are out of service or your phone dies, this manual will always be there for you.
  • Next on our list is a GPS system. Again, most people use their phones, but if you plan on mountain driving and adventures, this is a great option! Even if you know your way around town, having a GPS can save you time and stress when you're running late for class or trying to find a parking spot. Plus, it's always nice to have a backup in case you get lost.
  • Last but not least is a set of jumper cables. You never know when your battery is going to die, so it's always good to be prepared. We cannot stress how much these will come in handy. You might only need them once, but when you do, you will be thrilled to have them!
